The short version

This site collects as little as possible: privacy-respecting analytics, an email address if you subscribe to the newsletter, and whatever you choose to send through the contact form. Nothing is sold; nothing is shared beyond the services that make the site work.

Analytics

The site uses lightweight, cookie-free analytics (Plausible) to understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, referral sources, and country-level location. No cookies are set for analytics, no cross-site tracking occurs, and no personally identifying profile is built.

If you subscribe, your email address is stored by our newsletter provider (Kit) and used only to send the newsletter. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you promptly. Your address is never sold or rented.

Contact form and email

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered via a form-processing service and by email, and are used only to respond to your inquiry. Please do not send confidential information — contacting Juan does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Embedded services

Some pages embed third-party services that load only when you interact with them: YouTube videos (via the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie player) and Calendly scheduling. When you activate those embeds, the respective provider's privacy policy applies to the data it processes.

Your choices

You can browse without subscribing or submitting anything. To have a subscription or a submitted message deleted, email jvasquez@whitakerchalk.com.
