Juan J. Vasquez is an intellectual property and AI governance attorney
(Member, Whitaker Chalk Swindle & Schwartz PLLC, Fort Worth), founder and
president of 3ITAL — the International Institute for Intelligent Technology
Adoption in the Law — chair of the State Bar of Texas Emerging Technology
Committee, and author of "Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Patent Practice"
(2024). A U.S. Air Force veteran and electrical engineer with a career in
